Solid selection for a day tour in Oakland with good value for money. The room had a mini-frig and flat-panel TV, which was convenient. Probably best to avoid walking around at night.

We visited beautiful parks and had a great time at the Chabot Space and Science Center. The cable programming kept us entertained after a long day. Just a heads-up, the neighborhood might seem a bit sketchy at night, so be careful.

One downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work during our stay, which was a bit frustrating.

I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Oakland Zoo, which is just a short walk away, and I really appreciated being close to the beautiful Dunsmuir House and Gardens, where I spent a lovely afternoon strolling through the grounds. while the hotel provided basic amenities, it could benefit from more comfortable bedding for a better night's sleep.

The Queen Room was clean and well-maintained, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfy enough for a good night’s sleep, and it had a flat-panel TV. Wi-Fi was a huge letdown—couldn't make it work at all. Plus, I noticed a bit of sketchiness in the area, especially after dark. Still, for a quick stay, it did its job pretty well.
